The San Jose FORCE closed the 2025 season on Sunday with an appearance in the Schmeague Championship, the furthest this club has advanced in its three years of existence.
It was a season of firsts. The FORCE clinched a postseason berth for the first time, won a postseason game for the first time, and set a single-game scoring record along the way. For a franchise that played its inaugural season only two years ago, reaching the final weekend represents meaningful progress.
By the Numbers
The FORCE finished the regular season 8–6, scoring 1,400.62 points and allowing 1,346.52 — an average of 100.04 points per game. The club was 5–2 on the road and 3–4 at General Electric Field.
The margin between success and disappointment was often razor thin. Four of the club’s fourteen regular season games were decided by fewer than six points, including a Week 8 victory by less than a single point. The FORCE won three of those four.
“This group set out to compete every single week, and they did. Reaching the Championship is something this organization will build on.” Head Coach, San Jose FORCE
The Postseason Run
The FORCE entered the postseason as one of six qualifying clubs and opened on the road against Throat Goats, posting 147.06 points — the highest single-game total in club history. A week later the club advanced to the Championship with a 99.72 to 73.94 victory over The Philly Fakeouts, a club that had defeated the FORCE twice during the regular season.
Sunday’s Championship ended 149.88 to 80.22 in favor of Bustin Lutz OG, who finished the regular season with the league’s best record at 11–3.
Looking Ahead
Attention now turns to 2026. Roster construction begins with the Schmeague draft, and deposits for 2026 Season Tickets are being accepted now. The club will share offseason updates as they become available.
To everyone who filled General Electric Field this season, travelled to road games, or followed along from home — thank you. FORCE Nation made 2025 a season this club will remember.
