The San Jose FORCE are committed to providing fans with disabilities an online experience equal to the experience of fans without disabilities. We want every supporter to be able to follow the club, buy tickets, shop and plan a visit to General Electric Field, whatever technology they use to get here.

Conformance Standards

sanjoseforce.com is designed and maintained in substantial conformance with the World Wide Web Consortium’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 at Levels A and AA (WCAG 2.2 AA). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, learning and neurological disabilities.

Ongoing Efforts

Accessibility is an ongoing effort rather than a finished project. This site changes throughout the year as the season progresses, and each change is an opportunity to improve or to introduce a barrier. The club works with an independent digital accessibility consultancy that provides training for our web and content teams and carries out recurring assessments of the site using assistive technology, including screen readers, screen magnifiers and keyboard-only navigation.

Where we find issues, we prioritise them by the impact they have on fans and address them as part of our regular release schedule.

Features of This Site

The following are in place across sanjoseforce.com:

  • Every page can be operated with a keyboard alone, and the focused element is always visible
  • Headings and landmarks are structured so screen reader users can navigate a page by section
  • Images that carry meaning have text alternatives; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology
  • Text and interface colours are tested against WCAG contrast minimums
  • Pages reflow to a single column on small screens and support browser zoom without loss of content
  • Text sizing responds to your browser and operating system preferences

Third-Party Content

Some services reached from this site are operated by third parties, including our ticketing provider, our online store and the sites of our official partners. We ask our vendors to meet the same standards we hold ourselves to, but we do not control those platforms. If you encounter a barrier on a third-party service, please tell us and we will raise it with the provider on your behalf.

Accessibility at General Electric Field

This statement covers our website. Information about accessible seating, accessible parking in Lot A, elevators, wheelchair escorts, assistive listening devices, service animals and the sensory room on the main concourse is available on our Stadium page. Fans who need assistance on game day can visit any Guest Services location inside the venue.

Reporting an Accessibility Issue

If you have difficulty using any part of this site, we want to hear about it. Feedback from fans is one of the most useful ways we find problems.

Please tell us the page address, what you were trying to do, and the browser and assistive technology you were using, if any. We aim to respond within three business days.
