The San Jose FORCE have acquired quarterback Joe Burrow from Big Bob’s Beepers in exchange for wide receiver Christian Watson, the club announced following the conclusion of the 2026 draft.
The framework of the deal was in place before either player changed hands. Terms were agreed between the two clubs prior to the FORCE selecting Watson, meaning San Jose drafted the receiver already knowing he would be moved.
How the Deal Came Together
The Beepers selected Burrow earlier in the draft, before learning that quarterback Drake Maye remained available. Having then added Maye, the Beepers made Burrow available, and the two front offices reached an understanding within minutes.

The Draft Equity
Burrow was drafted at $10 and Watson at $6. The FORCE therefore come out of the trade $4 to the good in draft equity, having added the more expensive asset while giving up the less expensive one.
What the FORCE Are Getting
Injuries limited Burrow to eight games last season. When healthy, he is regarded by many around the league as a top-five quarterback, and the club believes the position has been upgraded meaningfully for 2026.

Training camp continues at General Electric Field. Roster and depth chart information will be published once the roster is set, and FORCE Nation members and Season Ticket Members will be notified first.
